The 2009 Crested Butte Arts Festival featured over 200 incredibly talented visual artists. Record crowds flocked to our beautiful mountain town to enjoy the wide variety of art, entertainment, and food. The fantastic weather added the final touch, making it the most successful Festival to date.

The Crested Butte Arts Festival (CBAF) is a non-profit, volunteer organization dedicated to the preservation of the arts in and around Crested Butte. The mission of the CBAF is to encourage and promote the artistic and cultural environment of the Upper East River Valley. In addition to our annual arts festival, the CBAF supports other arts organizations in the community in the form of modest art grants and through collaboration and partnerships.

The Festival caters to a variety of tastes and strives for a well-balanced show featuring fine artists and craft-persons in the following media:

The deadline is March 1, 2010.

The jury will be held March 10-12, 2010 in Denver and notifications will be sent out at the end of March. Above are images of the artists who participated in our 2009 show.
