MEDIUM: Watercolors

MATERIALS NEEDED: Watercolor paper and basic watercolor set, also basic paper and pencil/pen can be used, easel would be helpful, but not mandatory.

Level: 3


“I will share secrets of drawing wildlife and demonstrate classic watercolor techniques with students.”

Additionally, Michael will use his experience as an interpretive illustrator in Montana, to share interesting stories as the class works.

 
 

ABOUT THE ARTIST

Michael moved to Crested Butte 8 yrs. ago from Montana. From 2013-2018 he owned and operated River Light Gallery on Elk Ave and currently is the primary artist showing at Redline Gallery. For most of his early career, he worked as a freelance illustrator for the Nature Conservancy and USDA Forest Service. He is highly skilled in 2-dimensional art.
